Which? Trusted Trader Dismantle Instructions
VAT – all prices are inclusive of VAT, if you require a VAT receipt we may be able to help. Please advise us in writing prior to purchase.
Trusted Trader Removal- These kitchens will be dismantled by Used Kitchen Exchange’s trusted trader team
Granite/Quartz/Marble/Mirrors/Glass panels – Whilst every attempt will be made to successfully remove without damage, this is not always possible. Stone back splashes, runs with cut outs for sinks/hobs etc, upstands and mirrored panels will be given to the buyer free of charge if successfully removed and are therefore not included in the overall sales price. Breakages are rare, but sometimes unavoidable, but most cases the worktop can be fixed with an epoxy adhesive by yourself or through a local granite supplier.
Corian – Corian is a specialist worktop. The beauty of Corian is all joins are invisible. When Corian is installed it comes into the property in pieces and the joins are ‘blended’ to become invisible. Once joined, it becomes 1 large piece. In order to remove and transport a Corian worktop it is normal to expect this to be cut – this is often necessary due to the sizes/shapes/weight of the pieces. During removal, the joiner will assess the best place to cut – to reinstall, a Corian expert will be required. It is worth noting that it is normally possible to ‘add’ to a Corian worktop if required.
Painted Kitchens – If painted, the final finishing coats will have been applied after installation. This means that during dismantle, painted finishes may be chipped. It is reasonable to expect some touch up painting will be required once your kitchen is re-installed. if you are buying a hand painted kitchen, and would like to know the paint colour, please request this information from one of our team.
Condition – As these kitchens are pre-installed , it is reasonable to expect some minor wear and tear – any damage will be noted on the listing details
Appliances – Please assume that appliances will come without Warranty unless stated otherwise. It will also be stated in the listing if an appliance has had light showroom use.
